hi how do you make those gif overlays in the background and is it possible to provide a tutorial?

Bello 😊 for the specific one in /Evori, I used 4 things: the gif overlay, the mask, a transparent render of my character, and a background.
1. First, open a new project on photopea (Which is what I personally use. I think you can find alternatives) and import your mask/background

2. Then, look for the "File" button on the upper tab and click "Open & Place". Insert your character and adjust it to your liking, then clip it!

3. Look for the "File" tab again, but this time, click "Open". Import your gif overlay, which should be a folder. Using "Open" is necessary, since if you use "Open & Place", the gif will load as a png.

4. Now, on the GIF, look for the "Layer" button on the upper tab again. Look for the "duplicate into" button, and find the name of the project with your mask and click it for "destination". Click "Ok", and you should see your GIF in your project with the mask in it!
5. Drag the folder down to above the mask, but below the transparent png of your character. Adjust it to your liking. Since folders don't have clipping masks, we'll create a raster.
6. Click on the layer with your mask, and look for the "Select" option on the upper tab. Find "Load selection", and click "Ok". Don't change any of the options.
7. Find the "raster" button. It's a rectangle with a hole in it in the layers tab.

8. Drag the raster layer onto the GIF layer and the PNG. I recommend not using clipping mask, since the GIF will have a blending option. As for the blending option, I usually use lighten or screen. If you have any issues lmk! Aaandddd you're done!
